Hutch and the Twin Town Challenge!
Posted on
The Hutch Intercity Disco van was on the road this weekend! Team Hutch took part in the Twin Town Challenge, a charity car rally to raise money for SpecialEffect. Hats off to Josie, Dmitri, Adam, Maria, Katie, Nuno, Viv and Charlotte for their fundraising efforts!
Over the bank holiday weekend , 100+ cars costing less than £500 each left Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and headed to Le Touquet in France for 4 days of fun, frolics and fundraising, while spreading the word about SpecialEffect. Team Hutch transformed a 1993 Toyota Lucida (imported from Japan no less) into a wonderful 70s tribute to Love, Peace and Disco - complete with party lights and electronically controlled curtains. Groovy!!!! The end result was a rolling, international night club open 24h a day, always ready to party!
SpecialEffect is an amazing charity that helps people with disabilities enjoy video games for fun, inclusion and rehabilitation. It's a charity that's really close to our hearts and we've set ourselves the target of raising £500. If you'd like to help us, you can donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/team/IntercityDisco
