Today is International Women's Day - a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Striving for diversity and equal opportunities is an important part of our company culture and ongoing work. Women are historically underrepresented in gaming and tech. That’s something we want to change. And together with the MTG group, one way we can do this is to help women identify relevant role models at work, and create forums and spaces where they can share experiences. With that in mind, we’ll be marking International Women’s Day with two special events.

Next Monday, all Hutchies are invited to join the rest of the MTG group for a webinar hosted by Maria Redin, CEO of MTG. Maria will be sharing her path to leadership and discussing women in tech.

And we’ll be running a ‘Boost to Brilliance’ training workshop for the women at Hutch. This will cover topics that some women can find challenging in their careers. In the spirit of inclusion we’ll also be running the workshop later in the year for anyone else who wants to take part.
